Assets won't load

Hi all,
I've used svcd2dvd for years but a couple of weeks ago assets stopped loading. The program loads fine. The add asset directory comes up but when I try to add them or drag and drop they don't show up. The activity wait pointer blinks for a second as it looks at the file but then it just drops back to the main screen. I've tried all the different file formats but nothing will load. .NET is up to date. I've uninstalled and re-installed the program a couple of times. This really has me stumped. Anyone have any ideas?

Forgot to mention I'm running Windows 7 64 bit with all current updates.
