Hi- know nothing about working with video- can't even figure out where to search because I don't understand so much. Here's my very simple question: I had someone film a presentation I did in HD. I didn't have him do anything other than provide me with a DVD of the video (no formatting- whatever that means- see?) 1. Can't eliminate some "stamps" (1080YHD, 60i, play button, and running time) from view during playback. I'm assuming those will go away somehow as opposed to being permanent in video? 2. How do I import or download this video into my computer? I will eventually want to play around with it in Imovie. 3. I would like to rip the audio separately to be able to bring into Protools and edit for an audio presentation.
    I'd appreciate any direction. Thanks!

Moving you to our mac section.

You must provide more information about the video. You can try mediainfo and open the video and post all the details.
