What would be the best free Video Editor featured here on this site...It would have to be able to edit MOVs.

On linux, there is Openshot (For beginners, similar to windows movie maker) and Kdenlive (more advanced). Both are really good, constantly being updated/improved and completely free.

You will probably have to convert your mov files first or give it a try.

don't know, never used it. but if you have quicktime or quicktime alternative installed it should be able to open them.

What kind of EDITNG are you looking for???

Just for cutting could you try mpeg streamclip.

Or convert the mov to avi with mp4camtoavi and it might be easier to edit in wmm.
