I"ve got a MOV container video which I'm looking to convert to XviD for display on TV. I can play the MOV on computer and I can get MediaInfo to read its contents no problem. Unfortunately I can't extract the audio. Computer & GoldWave just hang indefinitely. The file plays very slowly & out of sync on computer. It is too high a resolution & bitrate & framerate for my limited RAM to handle.
I know it contains AVC & AAC inside and I can handle both of those no problem. I just need to be able to get to them outside of this MOV container. Is there anything like FLVextract that will allow me to get inside this MOV container so I can attack the AVC & AAC directly?

maybe try mediacoder or other encoders to convert the file directly to xvid.
