  1. I have been fighting with premiere for weeks!

All I want to do is create the FASTEST render possible for testing purposes in Premiere!

I have tested out Adobe after effects and it renders SOOO fast. If I have a movie I click 'Composition' -> 'Pre-Render'

It then creates an entry in the render queue. I then click on 'best settings' to customize them and I set to Quality = Draft and resolution = half.

I then click render and 30 seconds of video renders in like 30 seconds.

I put rendered video in media Infor and it says:

    Format : AVI
Codec ID/Info : Basic Windows bitmap format. 1, 4 and 8 bpp versions are palettised. 16, 24 and 32bpp contain raw RGB samples
    idth : 640 pixels
    Height : 390 pixels

How can I achieve this in premiere? HEEELP PLEASE! this is so annoying. I can't stand premiere with it's 20 minute long render times!

  2. Raw RGB and half the resolution. Seek those setting on premiere?

  3. Thanks for the response.

I was looking in premiere, but I simply cannot find them. I can't understand why they aren't there. Do I need to download a codec or something?
