Hey
I'm having a problem with connecting my laptop to tv. I have a VGA cable, and a RCA cable. I have plugged a VGA cable from my laptop into my tv which is fine and shows a video/image unfortunately, when I tried putting a RCA cable from my laptop in to my tv, there was no sound coming out from the tv. (RCA cable is plug to my laptop headphones) I tried going (Start/Control Panel /Sound). Looking at the devices there's only a speaker and microphone that were enabled. Tried looking at Tv options about laptop connectivity or what so ever though I only find PC setup which says "Access". My tv is Soniq Please help me

Help we can. Read minds we can not.
The model of your tv is rather crucial to know.
Same goes with the make/model of your laptop. There could be three audio connectors on that - mic, line-out and line-in. Line-out is usually green and that covers headphones and speaker. Your RCA cable goes in there.
I checked two Soniqs. Both of these have a pc-audio connector. You do have one of these do you and are plugging the RCA in to that rather than one of the red/white audio connectors which is audio-out and not audio-in. -
Make sure you are plugging into the RCA jack associated with the VGA connector. Read the manual.

First test the headphone output on you laptop with a pair of headphones to make sure it's configured properly and working. Then check what edDV said.
