asfbinwin1.8.2.903.zip contains wrong file

I have downloaded asfbinwin1.8.2.903.zip, from video help, the author, and many other sources, in every instance the zip contains an older version. I even had someone in britain download it and the results were the same.

I ask for someone who has asfbinwin version 1.8.2 to put the executable in a zip and email it to me.

What makes you think the version is older?

I know there are discrepancies, but the "about" information suggests it's 1.8.2.093.

Windows properties says 1.8.0.874, but the last version 1.8.1.892 also said that. It' s not uncommon for a programmer to forget to update that information

The changelog and date modifed suggests it's the correct version when you compare older releases. Also the filesize of the binary is different from previous release. All these suggest it's at least a different version

Perhaps you could contact the author if you're still concerned, or use the command line version which is updated to 1.8.3

Push the preview button . You probably just missed it. It's the 4th button down in the middle
