Anyone know how to make it so when I record with my mics the sound come in evenly on both R and L speakers? I use a canon hf-m40 Please help.
I have used 2 different mics and the result is the same: stronger sound in the right ear and weaker in the left. Are there settings on the camrea or is it something with the mics?

Most Canon HF camcorders have manual level controls for each channel in menus but not all. Check your user manual.
Turn AGC off if you have that option.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

I don't have that option. IS there a way to do it in post production? I have Adobe audition and premiere.
