TMPGEnc Cut And Merge Problem

Hi, This is the first movie i've ever tried to backup. I use Pinoy's guide. When I get to the part to cut the movie into sizes that can fit onto two discs, I pick the length of the movie i want to put on the first disk, when i press OK I get an error saying that a "read error occured at ....", has anyone had this problem, Does anyone know a good fix to it????

Any help would be appreciated.

I also get this error but it does not seem to be a problem. Just close the error dialogue and proceed (clicking run or whatever). It still correctly cuts the video.

I also get this error. It does not seem to be a problem in Win2000. But I just can't get it to work with latest TMPGEnc and WIN-XP-pro. Everytime I click Run the same error message pops up! Very frustrating!! :evil:

Any help is greatly appreciated!
