Just pick up a new blu-ray drive from eBuyer today and a 10 pack of blu-ray media Nashua BD-R 4x Made in China, i never heard of that brand of discs and a quick search on google just came up with there website and not very much information, so has anyone heard of this brand of discs or should i send them back?

30 years ago nashua corp was one of the better suppliers of floppy discs when they were floppy as in 8" and 5 1/4". now they are probably only thought of for their #357 duct tape.
is there a mid that imgburn can find?--

search that mid on cdfreaks.com it appears they are pretty much junk. might be ok if you don't put more than 15gb on each.

I'd send them back.
If you want cheap discs, try the RiData or Titan (also Philips, same MID). They work fine with my burner (LG WH12LS30), and they probably would work well on your LG burner. Good luck.Pull! Bang! Darn! -
This really should be obvious but either you care enough to buy discs that you know are good or you do not. If you're always looking for some kind of deal on media then just admit that you don't and take your chances. You're not going to be able to have your cake and eat it too.
