I've got a matrox g400Tv capture card, and am having problems recording above 352x288 without strange interlacing problems. It was suggested that I try to capture with HUFFYUV codec instead of the matrox MJPEG compression and try using the 'swap fields' option in virtualDub, but I can't seem to get it to work without a massive frame loss, even on the lowest quality settings with my 1GHz Athlon. I've read about RGB and YUY (but don't really get it!) and note that HUFFYUV uses YUY in some way, but my card drivers won't let me set my video format to YUY (only RGB or MJPEG).
Any ideas guys??
Many thanks![]()
