Problem with menu

Hi,

first, excuse-me if my english is not very good.

So, I've created a menu with nero, but when I put in my DVD player, the menu is corrupted... I can push the numer of the file (1, 2 or 3) form my remote and he will play this file number...

But why the mnu not appear correctly on my player? (and not only my... i've tested this cd and many more cd i've made, and all the same problem)

Does I need to change option in NERO to be able to see a good menu?

humm ive tried making menus with Nero they seem to work for me but they were realy CHEAP looking.

a) How can the menu be both corrupt and work as it should?
b) What is your expectation of how it should look on a television?

I believe that Rambytes is saying that the functionality of the menu works, but it displays funny in some way... Perhaps it's a PAL/NTSC problem.

Yes... the menu is very "fussy".... cannot see everything, and sometime nothing, but a big green screen... but the "file" work fine...

yea try to check the "size" of the menu you are using...

does it have a background of some sort?

and try what vitualis said bout ntsc and pal (try going for ntsc)

The size that nero create is 704x480. And I cannot change that resolution.

I use yes a background... but in the example made here for Nero 5.5+, he use a background too.

I really don't know what is the problem... NEro can be?

Hmm maybe what your using is a corrupted background file...

try using a different background image. cause i dont think nero would screw up since all your VCD menu commands still work..

but if it still screws up try another program to make menus somting like ezcdcreator or videopack4

and check the size of your background too
