I have produced a Skype video conference recording and the .mov file came out fine. However, when I imported the clips into Final Cut Pro for editing there is a noticeable drop-out by one of the audio tracks. Meaning, the guest caller recorded successful, but the host caller's audio track is very muffled. The .mov plays without error in QuickTime. But this is causing me some confusion during editing in FCP. I did scale the clips 225% but I don't believe that's of relevance to this issue. Would anyone know how I could resolve this conflict between Skype and Final Cut Pro?
FCP v.4
Apple G4, OSX 10.4
Skype using CallRecorder plugin
Greatly appreciated!
