If been converting divx for a while now....But I changed to the next level..
Got myself a mini-dv cam and a fire wire card. But now I have a problem

I use avid-DVexpres for capturing and editing. So far so good....only problem that I have now is to convert my beautiful movies to vcd/svcd. When I export them to DV(?) or to an other format and run them to TMPGenc it's really crap. Does anyone have a solution??

The camera has only a Firewire out, so I can't record my movies back to it and capture it in a other program. And no, I am not planning to use another editing program.

So if anyone has some experience with this problem, please let me know!
