  1. I've searched for several months and haven't found a solution for a particularly difficult avi file.

It's an old VHS rip and I just can't find the movie anywhere so hoping to fix it.

The audio is out of synch by a few seconds but it doesn't seem to be consistent.

Anyone know of an app that allows one to splice apart the separated audio from the avi (I have it in a separate wav file) avi and adjust it in small increments - but an app that hopefully has a good visual display? (I'm thinking along the lines of perhaps with a waveform display?) I've tried all the tricks to move the audio by delaying or putting it forward but the out of synch isn't quite even.

I know that I might end up with something choppy but if I could get the audio better in synch it would be better than what I have now.

    Any app ideas welcome. Thanks.
