    Hi All,

    very new to this forum but would be over the moon with some advise/help.

    I have a new full HD small Pamasonic HM-TA1 camera, I have recorded over 3 hours on 2 separate SDHC cards but now I need to send a copy to my mother for her to use on her DVD player.

    The software with the camera is poor, it does not allow burning to disc and Windows Movie maker does not recognize the MP4 files

    I suspect that from reading some of the stickys that I need to convert from MP4 to another type ???

    Any suggestions on which is the best software option of me ? {free would be great} and what file to convert from MP4 to ?

    Also does the fact the recordings are full HD {1920/1080} have any impact on proceedings ?

    Your help would be greatly appreciated

    Paul D {and I thought a small "new" camera would be less hassle.............. }

    What software?
    You need to convert to MPEG2 and author a DVD.
