I do videos on YouTube, and have been for the past three years. For the past few months, I've been deciding on getting a green screen + a softbox or two. I've been wondering if my room's dimensions would be probable for good video production. I have a 9' wide by 11' long bedroom that stands at about 7.5 to 8 feet tall.
I have a desk on the long part that extends about a foot, bringing the width of the room down to about 8 feet, and a futon that brings the rest of the room down to about 7 to 8 feet wide. I have the 9 foot wide part mainly near my door and my closet, where I have about a foot to two feet in length for space to put up the green screen. I'm thinking, is all of this good space, or should I move into my sister's vacant room down the hall? It is a 10 foot wide by 12.5 foot long room. There's about 4 feet of free space on each side.![]()
