    i'm having an issue with MPC seeming to fail to load subtitles on longer movies. I have a file that is over 3 hours long, and yet any subtitles I tried to load just don't show up. Whether they are the 3 hour subs or just some 20 minute sub off something else. Loading a different film all subtitles seem to display properly.. any idea what to do with this?

    sorry, turns out I actually have MPCHC (1.4.2543.0) is there some kind of size limit on subtitles? I can't say that I've ever seen that before.

    I prefer VSFilter for dealing with external subtitle files,
    and ffdshow for the embedded ones.
    I've never liked MPC(-HC)'s built-in subtitling engine.

    However I must admit,
    I have never tested them on playing times longer than 2 hours.
