I have a Panasonic HD Video camera and am trying to download the video on my G5 mac OS X 10.58 with iLife09 and get an error message that an Intel duo core mac processor is required. Does anyone know a work around to get our HD videos on our G5?

Sadly the G5 isn't powerful enough to handle HD video. Apple made all software that handles HD intel only. If you manage to get the video onto your G5, it will play horribly. I know VLC plays HD on G5's but its not good, it plays slow motion style and stutters a lot. You may want to search google, its been a while but I believe I found in the past a third party application that still transferred it to the G5.
Talk nerdy to me
