  1. I recently upgraded to Windows 2000 and I am now having trouble frameserving to CCE. I had no problems with win 98. (is there a compatability issue with 2000?) I am trying to resize a file and serve it to CCE to encode a SVCD file.

    anyhow here is the error I get when try and right click add the .vdr file

    NewMovieFromFile() failed (0).

    any suggestions? ..

    I did wipe my hard drive clean before the 2000 install. Am I missing a .dll or something I dont know about ?

    TIA

  2. Try using a version lower then 2.64. I use CCE 2.50 with no problems on Win2k. Bottom line is that CCE 2.64 in not compatable with vdub

    cce sp 2.6x do not accept VirtualDub frameserved files, neither with win 98 nor w2k.
    Use cce sp 2.50 and frameserve audio too. Just open any small .wav file, that you find on your HD and disable audio in cce if you convert the audio seperately.
