    Hi!
    I have a problem with my DVD recorder. It must be on its last legs now as it is starting to get cranky. Right now it has a hold of my disc and will not open. I've looked for the little hole that you can stick a paperclip in to open the door but there isn't one! Can someone give me ideas besides taking an axe to it?

    Check the manual for the "hole" location.

    Otherwise the top comes off.
