hi how do i un compress audio using avi to vcd but it says cannot encode file it has compressed audio tried encoding with tmpge but results were not so good playback had like a net curtain over the top of it especially on the dark scenes. thanks chelly.

Sounds like a DivX/AVI type, what you need is to use VirtualDub to open the AVI file, and then select Save WAV, and then use the WAV as the Audio Input in TMPGEnc.
