  1. Have tried several time to join 2 identical MKV files(1 7gig the other 4gig) and keep getting 1 MKV file thats 12gig but only plays the first half of the movie then ends.

    As The master (Baldrick) always says..... go back to an earlier version of MKVToolNix.
    Ver 3.4 to 4.0 might work better than the newer versions.
    Also, if that doesn't work you might try to pull out the streams and
    individually re-insert them into the new MKV

  4. Hvent seen the final outcome from version 3.4.0 but i still get the warnings... Warning: matroska_reader: Could not keep the track UID 609880219 because it is already allocated for the new file.

  5. Ok gave up on MKVToolNix and now trying Divx Plus Converter but now I have a new problem...

    I have 2 different MKV's which i know for a fact are identical in every way,frame rate, aspect ratio ect.. ect... but for some reason it wont let me join them.
    Every time i click combine all videos into one file the 2nd file has a ! next to it and when i click on it it says
    this video will not be inclded in your final video because all files in combine mode must have the same resolution, frame rate,sample rate, bit-depth and channel count as the first file listed. BUT THEY ARE! ???
