  1. I have been trying to open AVI file, in order to converte it to svcd formate, the file had been captured using adobe premiere 6.0.

    I had tried to change the enviroment setting as recommended by vcdhelp, i had also installed the latest divx (i think it is version 5).

    what else i should look for?

    pls help

    The codec to match the AVI you have

    Click right hand mouse button on AVI select properties. This shows the type of codec used, no have a look to see if you have it installed. Control Panel > Multi Media > devices > video compression

  3. im running on windows xp,.. when i right click the avi file and select properties, i ger video clip, opens with windows media player.

    and in the control panel i do not have the choice of selecting multimedia,..
