will i still get good quality with it running a 32 bit edition of windows?

I intend to play a little bit of gameso n it but mainly for movie watching.

    Thank you.

  2. If you don't need 3d why spend so much? I find the novelty of 3d wears off after a while and it just becomes annoying.

  4. Depends what you want to use the monitor for, if you want it for colour correction then a video monitor is the way to go, if not then just go for a good quality LCD monitor, I agree with SE14 that 3D is a gimmick that will soon wear off, at least until it improves.

  6. He's talking about using a calibrated monitor to adjust colors, brightness, and contrast in a professional photo/video editing setting. LCD monitor tend to have brightness problems near the edges of the screen and in dark/light extremes (crushed blacks and brights, inadequate black level, bluish blacks, etc.). On the other hand, LCDs are free of geometric and convergence distortions that plague CRTs.
