Tmpgenc cutting and merging problem

I copied 3 vcd dat files and converted them to mpeg using vcdgear.

After merging the 3 mpeg files as 1 file with tmpgenc using merge and cut Mpeg tool, the first part does not have any sound, while the other 2 parts work fine. The first part works fine separately,

Anyone had the same problem before and how should I rectify the sound,
