  1. I got killed with my taxes this year, so my new computer purchase is being delayed for another year. I'm pretty bummed because I was hoping to use my new PC to convert some old VHS tapes (my wedding video for example) to VCD.

Anyway, I have a PII/266 running Win95 with an ATI All-In-Wonder Pro (no laughing!). Is it possible for me to create any halfway decent VCD's with this system? If so, can somebody put me on the right path in terms of some software I should be using? I've tried doing a search on this and it seems everyone has long since abandoned these old PC's!!!

If anyone has some thoughts on this, they would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks.

  2. Hmmm... well CPU power is really too low for doing captures, but if you are doing DVD rip's you shouldn't have problems ,just will take very VERY long
