    Never encountered this one. Got a download from Vimeo and the DivX file has interlacing artifacts galore. I'm guessing there's nothing you can do about such a file, then again I've been wrong many, many times.

    It depends how badly it has been butchered. if it has been deinterlaced and resized (or worse, resized and then deinterlaced) then it may not be worth the time. Post a few seconds with movement so that someone like Manono can have a look at it.

    I figured. Gonna see if maybe I can mask some of the movement interlace with motion blur.

    Edit - marginally better, but not enough to make a big difference

  6. A precise bilinear downsize to 640x360 doesn't look too bad. Still looks like double exposures when motions are large.

    Thanks for that. Problem is I want to play it on an HDTV... Oh well, I PMed the creators to see if they'll upload a decent copy.
