I just bought the Fatal1ty Pro and so far i'm impressed with it. However i can't seem to figure out how to disable either output. Here's what i mean, i have a 2.1 cambridge soundworks setup plugged into the green output of the sound card. I also have the optical output of the sound card running to a dolby decoder for my surround sound headsets. Both work just fine, however the audio always outputs to both devices. There doesn't seem to be any way to disable either output within the creative software, so in essence i could switch from one output to the other. In control panel, under sound on the playback tab, the default selection is Speakers (Creative SB XFI). Just beneath that i see SPDIF Out (Creative SB XFI) says 'ready'. If i try to disable the Speakers option, and then set the SPDIF as default i get no sound from either output. There has to be a way to switch between either output. Does any one know if that can be achieved?

Have you ever tried some "non-official" drivers for your sound card?
As a rule, the drivers (and especially the applications) from the Creative Lies have always sucked.
I just bought the Fatal1ty Pro
