    Hi All,

Of late, I've noticed my process (https://forum.videohelp.com/topic358185.html) for backing up my bought blu-ray's to mkv so I can put them on my htpc has been giving me grief on movies with DTS-MA soundtracks.

whenever I attempt to make an MKV from disc with a DTS-MA, the process goes through as it normally would, except when I play it now through my htpc (connected to a non compatible DTS-MA amp) it doesn't play the audio... I know DTS-MA is a higher bit-stream and all, but in the past this has never been a problem... just lately...

I don't know if DTS-MA has changed, or whether I'm selecting the wrong audio profile when making them...

i.e. the 5.1 aften 640kpbs, 5.1 aac-lc 320kpbs etc profiles - i think I'm choosing the wrong one, and can't find any clarification as to which one is which or what an equivilent 5.1 source is

    any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Cheers,

    matt
