  1. Does anyone know if RipBot264 is capable of providing DTS audio when ripping a Blu-Ray that has DTS? I want to rip as a MKV file, but when I went through the lenghy process using AnyDVD HD, avisynth, ffdshow, haali media splitter and RipBot264, I only had AAC or AC3 audio...I don't remember which one. The video quality was great, but I want DTS audio out.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

Can't you choose copy stream in ripbot264?

Or else give AVCHDCoder a try.

  3. Baldrick,
I will look for copy stream in RipBot264. It seems like the only available output audio choice was AA3 (or AAC). I don't remember seeing anything pertaining to DTS...but I'll look again.
    I'll also check into AVCHDCoder.

    Thanks for your input.

Copy stream doesn't work just for DTS I noticed the same problem early on with Ripbot per I also prefer DTS over DD. You have a couple options.............

(Option 1). After you have Ripped the BD HD you can then open up the file inside of TS MUXER then uncheck all but your DTSHD audio, Then you CHECk downconvert DTSHD to DTS (MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN) then Demux the file to the desktop, close ts muxer, Then open up Ripbot choose NO AUDIO ON THE 1ST STAGE/DEMUXING, on 2nd stage click on the elipse/browse button for the audio and bring in your DTS file from the Desktop and you will see the DTS logo in Ripbot light up above, then encode the movie as normal.

(Option 2). You can pick FLAC at the 1st part of Demuxing with Ripbot - if your player can handle FLAC files audio

If you're wanting to rip a Blu-Ray with DTS audio quality, do the following, plus the information at the web site I listed.
Everything looks and sounds fantastic!! Thanks again ajgoyt.
