Hello, I just bought the LG 50PK760. I can play 1080p MKV on it but I suspect it supports only low quality Audio, so when I open the file I get UNSUPPORTED AUDIO.

Instructions manual say it supports Dolby Digital, AAC, AC3 but it only opens 20% of these files. It does open all MKVs with MP3 audio though.

I just need an easy way to convert the DTS in MP3, something like Popcorn Audio Converter (which converts DTS to AC3). I need a program that only converts the audio so I don't need to wait for 1000 hours to convert both audio and video.

Or maybe since they say AC3 is supported I need a program to downgrade the quality of these files? See if they work?

If you happen to know of such a program please take 10 seconds of your time and help me, I'm eating sandwiches and not sleeping since three days here....

    Thanks a lot guys!
    Adrian

PS my tv supports tens of video formats, thought I should mention it here.

xmedia recode or avidemux. Under video choose copy mode. Under audio choose mp3. Save as a new mkv.
