    I am having trouble playing some AVCHD files recorded with my Sony CX150. Some files play just fine, others do not. I've tried just playing them through the camcorder, using Windows 7's media player and the latest VLC. Attached is what windows explorer looks like in detail view. Is there any way to view these, fix these, or re encode so that I can watch them?

    You might try examining them with MediaInfo. Windows Explorer just lists them. No real info there. Compare them to ones that work and you may see the problems.

    Thanks. Didn't really see much difference other than the bitrate but I'll look at it closer tomorrow.
