  1. Hello all,

I am new on here and feel a bit bad for asking such a question on my first post.

I have just recovered some deleted Wedding videos from my memory card, and the most important part is corrupted I think.

I have looked around on the forums but could not really find a one stop solution and I absolutely have no clue where to begin.

The file is quite large at 900 mb and is an .mp4 and I currently use windows7

Please do help me as it would devastate my sister if she cannot view this.

Many thanks for anyone who is willing to help

    Tomo

This forum gets a few posts like this a week, unfortunately the outcome is usually poor.
Take a look at this thread for some of the issues:

Unfortunately, the solution requires much manual work. The only program I know of that seems to
be mentioned as promising is "Treasured" and that runs on a Mac.

You have, unfortunately, run into a problem where there is no definitave solution and the solutions have limited success. I did hours upon hours of research on this subject and most attempts failed. The working solutions usually were in the situations where the header were corrupt. In such situations the header could simply be replaced from a working mp4 file created on the same camera using a hex editor.
