Hello folks, this is my first posting on here and I do have a problem with my Panasonic DVD recorder. The model is DMREZ28.My problem is that I've noticed that the picture looks a slight bit BIGGER than it should. When I watch the TV without the unit plugged up I can see the difference. I'm using the input select 2,because when I use input select 1, the picture has dark bands of color in it. Ok,this is actually two problems. This is very annoying because I can't use the unit to record anything with the picture larger, and cut off at the top and bottom.Any help with this would be most appreciated.

It is called overscan. If you TV doesn't support a 'just scan' mode then you will have to live with it. Overscan has been with us since the start of TV, and it seems it will continue for some time to come.

Hi, thanks.I also have model numbers Panasonic DMR E 30, E50, and E55.I'm using the same TV for those models also, but the problem does not happen when I use these machines. The problem has to be with the Panasonic DMREZ28 model.
