Good evening
A program displays the following:
" Block the main executable in your firewall software "
I have the Windows Firewall. How can I do that?
Thanks for the help. Cheers.

I've never had much faith in Windows Firewall, but go to 'Control Panel>Windows Firewall' and on the left side of the page there should be a 'Advanced settings'. Click that and scroll down to 'View and create firewall rules'. You should see a listing there for Inbound and Outbound Rules. Find your program there and see if you can block it.
This info is for Windows 7, since I don't have any XP machines running at present. But it should be similar to XP.
If you want a more reliable and better performing firewall, consider the free version of Comodo or one of the other popular freeware firewalls. Comodo takes a while to set itself up, but it protects much better on incoming and outgoing packets. Outgoing blocking was always one of MS's firewall weaknesses. -
Hello, redwudz.
Your receipt is not valid for my Windows XP. But I followed it and I managed block the program.
Thank you.
Cheers.
