Try another brand of Disk and get one you can rewrite on. That helps sometimes.

I have herd of it slowing down and stopping but not outright working.. Try using a another VCD player if it works. Sound like your VCD/DVD player is broke. Also try using a old VCD disk in your VCD/DVD Player one that you know works. If it dose not work agin it sound like your VCD/DVD is not working. You can also try the same thing on another VCD/DVD If they work on another VCD/DVD this strong evidence that it is your VCD/DVD Player.

I am ruling out your DVD burner because you says it works on your PC. you can also change software. There tons of demo software out there.

  5. Nero works fine for me but in the beginning I also burned a few disks that didnt work, I also tried them on 4 different DVD players. All DVD players was supposed to play VCD´s but only one worked JVC-521... So it could be your DVD-Player that wont accept R or RW discs... I also have burned a few DVD´s (10-15mins) on a regular CD and they all work fine on my computer´s DVD but the regular DVD player wont accept....

good point. he may have made a minor change and not even thought about it. Sometimes the smallist thing counts. I am sure it is just a dumb
error and once he find out what it is you will be able to here OMFG that was it.
