I currently use Ulead Dvd MovieFactory but it takes so long to load!
Although the output quality is very good

    What do you use?
    How is the output quality?

The output quality is good? What are you looking for, an encoder or an authoring program? Those are 2 different things, you know? Me, I usually author using Muxman. The output quality is the same as what I feed into it in the first place.

I said the output quality is good, because I have used Authoring software that messes up the quality.
And yes i know what your talking about sorry for not being specific

Are you happy with Muxman? How long have you been using it for?

  4. If you have used ones that messed up the quality, then they have been reencoding your video.

I love Muxman. I've been using it for years. It doesn't create menus, though. It only authors from elementary streams. When I want to make menus, I create them myself and use DVDAuthorGUI to author. Both of the ones I've mentioned are freeware. Lots of people here will recommend DVDLab Pro or TMPGEnc Authoring Works as good commercial authoring programs.

  5. I use DVD Lab Pro and it is the bomb.
Very easy to use, great output, very good control over menus, auto chaptering, multiple subtitle streams etc.
As mentioned earlier though, I never use it for re-encoding.
Built in encoders are often slow and not that great.
Encode first to DVD quality using your encoder of choice (I often use TMPGEnc, lately I have been using ConvertXtoDVD when I get lazy and dragging the vobs into DVD Lab Pro to give them a nicer menu) then use your authoring program to do what it's best at doing: authoring!

Use Ulead DVD Workshop 2. I wrote about this last week: Is DVDWS2 best for authoring?
    That's it.

Then your video file isn't DVD compliant for one reason or another. If you want to cut off a piece and upload it for us to have a look, we might be able to tell you why it wasn't accepted. Or, you might check the Muxman log (in the root of the C drive) to see if there's a more detailed explanation. That might be why some of the authoring programs you use messes up the quality. It's being reencoded to make it compliant.
    Thanks you anyways muxman
Don't blame Muxman for your own incompetence.
