Hello guys,
after demuxing a BD with Ripbot and pressing "START" the status says: "Please Wait... Initializing..." but nothing happens - until I press "cancel" - so the programm does not crash but some thing stops it from processing.
Did anyone have the same problem (and probably) found a solution?
Thanks in advance

Define "forever". Your using a slow computer,it could easily take 30 minutes to demux on your system.

I don't mean demuxing - after demuxing as I press start is usually takes a few seconds of "Please Wait... Initializing..." and then the % Counting starts. Now I waited 1h and nothing happens...

Thanks for the hint - but there are no ANSI characters in any of the pathes used...
Now I played around a little and I found out that Ripbot only hangs when I try to embed AC3 Audio!
If I switch it to 5.1 CT AAC-LC (or anything else) it starts!
What component do I have to reinstall or reconfigure? Source is DTS-MA (but the corresponding WAV-File was created!)Last edited by nikemouse; 19th Mar 2010 at 05:58.

I just tried to convert a BD with Handbrake and it works also. All you have to do is point to the correct M2TS file. It doesn't work on BD that have the movie spread out over all the files on the BD though. And it doesn't take 5-8 minutes to gather the details about the movie your about to code.

Set audio normalization to OFF
Also How high is cpu utilization during "Please Wait... Initializing..." phase?
What cpu do you have?Last edited by Atak_Snajpera; 19th Mar 2010 at 14:56.

I have a Q6600 at regular speed.
lately I suspect ffdshow is no longer running well on my machine - reinstall does not help. Is there a way to do a complete uninstall / reset of all ffdshow settings and then start over (I mean except nuking vista back to zero?)
Thanks for the help! -
Uninstall ffdshow in the same way how you uninstall any other application.
new ffdshow is here
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow-tryout/files/ -
I tried ripbot 1.15.0 and 1.15.1 - same problem - I uninstalled - and reinstalled ffdshow (from the tryout folder) - did not change anything.
I tried BluRip with the crop input mode set to DirectShow - processing fails at crop (very quick test) - then I switched to FFVideoSource - and it works.
so I am sure it is not a RipBot problem - but still I have now way of fixing or even diagnosing the source of this problem.
Any ideas?
