Hi all, I've tried to convert mkv videos to other formats like mp4 or avi. Most of the time it goes smoothly but sometimes i end up with a output video that plays faster than the audio. I tried using mediacoder and Any Video Converter. Mediacoder just stops converting at about 40%. Any Video Converter gives me the fast playing video. I think the problem is most likely to do with the video file. Is there a way the fix this? Thanks in advance for any help i can get.

Please post the details from the mkv, use mediainfo, open mkv, view->text and copy and paste here.

And I would also try latest handbrake or format factory.

Probably FPS or Vorbis are causing the issue.
Try Format Factory or Handbrake as suggested, and set FPS to default.
