Super : conversion issue with audio

Each time im using MENcoder with directshow encoding i get the sound but no voice. we hear the music and backgrounds but no voice.

But it works fine if i dont enable directshow or if i use

what are the settings for directshow?

It depends what the source audio is, and therefore what DirectShow filter is being used to decode it. It sounds like you have multi-channel audio, but are using a DirectShow filter that is not configured to play all the channels. For example, if you have a 5.1 AC3 audio track, but your AC3 DirectShow filter is set up to only read the left and right channels, most of the dialogue will be gone. (This is an example. I am not saying you have AC3 audio).

If it works without using the DirectShow filter, don't use it.
