My tips. Don't cross post. I deleted your other post.
I guesss you have tried most free converters? -
I've tried a lot of free converters yes....and even one I paid for, withc uses a "tape whats on your screen", but...it allso failed.
So, any idea? How then to remove DRM? -
The one that just 'tapes what's on your screen' - what program was it, and how did it fail?
I'm not really the person to ask for how to remove DRM from a video file, though. Maybe someone else will know. But capturing the video as it plays may well be the only worthwhile option, if your system is decent enough. If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
It failed because it takes up all the power of the computer. I could set it to convert while going on holiday, but it uses twice realtime (Aimersoft m4v cconverter). Almost 1,5 hour to capture and convert 45 minutes...and I have hours and hours of itunes stuff.
Isnt there any way to get a WDTV to play M4V? -
I'm not sure about the quality of that Aimersoft program you mentioned, for a number of reasons. Use one of the capture utilities mentioned in the Tools section to the left, like CamStudio or Fraps, and choose a (relatively) lossless codec while you're capturing - otherwise, the program also has to take time to encode the video during the capture process. (That could be part of the problem you were seeing with the Aimersoft converter, though.)
I've heard the program Bjs mentioned several times, but I'm not sure how well it works, or whether or not it works with videos purchased from the iTunes Music Store. If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
