    Hi all I am trying to copy a VCD and reformatt it to a audio CD format or even a MP3 type of format.

    Any ideas????

    I moved you to your own topic as dvd to mp3 is not same as vcd to mp3.

    Open the vcd.dat file in for example AoA Audio Extractor and convert directly to mp3. If you can't open the vcd.dat then convert the vcd to a mpg using vcdgear first.

    I used AoA Audio Extractor but get the following on the music track


    It seems that there is no video in your file.

    Please waitting ....
    Then it crashes.

    However I have sucessfully converted the opening segment.

    Will try vcdgear now
