Hi everyone
This is a problem I've been battling with for a while.
We're holding an event in a couple of weeks and we'd like to broadcast the awards ceremony live.
We have a digital camcorder (Sony DCR-SR90E) but unfortunately it doesn't have DV out
The only way to get the files off is to drag&drop from the hard drive once it's finished recording.
So I'm looking for an analogue->digital capture device which can connect to the composite outputs of the camcorder.
I'm looking for one I can use with Flash Media Encoder to stream to Livestream/uStream/Justin.tv or whatever
Problem is it needs to be an external unit because we'll be doing this on laptops.
It can be firewire but preferably USB, since firewire seems to be dying out on laptops these days.
I've seen the Canopus ADVC110 and ADVC55 but they're out of our price range really. And USB would be preferred.
Any ideas/suggestions?
Cheers, B
