I am a total newbie so bear with me. I made a video slideshow set to music of my daughters wedding with text. I can save it to my media player and my computer. The problem is no matter what I do I can not convert it to a DVD you can playback on the tV with a DVD player. I keep getting an error that it is not formated right. I have try to burn it with the windows media player and Nero 7 Ultra Edition. I just don't know what I am doing wrong. I have blank CD and DVD disc.
Can anyone please help me. This is very important to me since it is my daughter's wedding.

    Thank you so much

What did you create the slideshow with?
What type of video format is it in now?

I'm not familiar with movie maker.
Did it give you an option of output format?
    VCD, SVCD, or DVD?

In the windows movie maker it only gives it the option to copy to cd. It looks like it completes it successfully but then it won't play. I then sent the file to the Nero 7 Ultra Edition and chose the option to copy to SVCD and that looks like it copies successfully. But when I try to play it in the DVD player it says this disc does dot have the playback option and is not formatted correctly. I am using a DVD-R and I tried using a CD-R disc. Am I using the wrong type of disc? I am sorry I am so clueless with this.

    Thanks for your patience.

VCD and SVCD should go to a CD-R.
Can you "explore" the discs you have already burned in Windows Explorer and see what is on the disc?

I don't like "all in one" programs like Nero but since you already have it I would just create the slideshow in Nero.
I have an old version of Ulead Movie Factory installed on my computer....just to create a simple slideshow.
Just make sure your your output is set to DVD quality....at least.

There are better slideshow programs than Nero and Ulead....free ones too like SSMM (Slide Show Movie Maker)
but they may have a steeper learning curve than something like Nero.
