    Hi, I just reformated my desktop and installed the drivers for my Officejet 4550. Everytime I start my computer, it starts this "HP Product Assistant" amd tries to find something. I try to cancel it, but it keeps popping up. Any idea what the heck this is?

    I believe you have to put the printer software disc in the drive and let Windows install whatever it is looking for.
