  1. In the settings it only allows me to link it to virtualdub, asfbin, avidemux, mp4box, so i'm doomed because only virtualdubmod apparently tolerates both cut assistant, xvids etc and mp3s. Do I now have to learn how to adapt mp3s to WAV extensions because cut assistant forces me to work with virtualdub or is there another cut assistant out there than can tolerate virtualdubmod?

oh and the reason i have to use cut assistant is cuz for some reason no virtualdubmod i know can allow you to edit (or in fact no virtualdub since the screen goes black and you can't see anything. If it's the only alternative, could someone show me how to change mp3s to wavs?

For VDub I would assume that it creates VDub Sylia script/job files. These should work fine with VDubMod or any other VDub based app.

avidemux should also work. I would assume it creates js scripts in this case.

    That's right.

Maybe I don't understand your problem, but AFAIK you can enter it easily: Options -> Settings -> VirtualDub -> Path to virtualdub.exe , klick on [...] and chose "Executables" as filetype. Then you should be able to chose virtualdubmod.

    Didn't try it myself, though.

    Hope that helps...
