I am very confusing using this option in Xvid Quantization Option. I recently Searched about this Topic and I found that in Some forum says using 1 is good but it is used more space and 2 is better. Apart from changing all Min quantizer settings to 2 (using 1 will not improve picture quality, and will only increase file size). is this is true. using 1 is not better only 2 is good. and Trellis Quantization option Enabled or Disabled. why use this Trellis Quantization option

The only reason the quant 1 was made available was to stop the whining by incompetent encoders when their encodes turned out undersized. Set the minimum for 2. And I set my max to 6, although few would go along with that.
Better, if final size isn't important to you, is to make 1-pass CQ encodes for a specific quant.
