Hi, I have an ATI all in wonder 128 Pro Ultra card and I can only get it to get the picture up on the screen and capture using the ati player/recorder.
I had Ulead video studio 4 come with the card and that wont display the picture, the buttons to change the video format and the video source are greyed out. I have also tryed vitualdub but when I select capture avi an error message says "no capture driver available". Another program also gave an error message saying something similar like cannot connect to capture device. Has anyone had a similar problem before and can help me please?
Thankyou.

I have an ATI AIW with mmc6.3 and older drivers that support video for windows (available from ati) with this set up I can capture using mmc virtualdub and ulead 4. But I can only capture using the ATI codecs. I tried updating to 7.1 with the newer drivers and although I could capture using mmc7.1 to other codecs such as huffyuf, virtualdub would not work giving the same errors as you stated. I think this is because the newer drivers do not support video for windows which virtualdub needs. I am still trying to find a solution to this problem as I really want to capture to huffyuf using virtualdub. But if you are happy with the ati codecs the older drivers and mmc6.3 work with virtualdub.
