Newbie here. I have a copy of Mirrors ripped to my harddrive. I was wanting to know what the best settings to use in SUPER that will allow me to play on my PS3. I use a standard CRT TV. Thanks.

Personal choice - don't use SUPER. There are better tools that are better suited.

    Basic choices

    1. Divx/Xvid AVI. AutoGK is the easiest quality solution. AVI.net is an option, or Xvid4PSP using the AVI Hardware option. All of these will ensure the video is compliant with standard Divx certified hardware.

    2. Higher quality would be H.264 in a MP4 container. Xvid4PSP has PS3 templates for this.

SUPER can do this, but it is arguably a lesser quality encoder because of it's basic settings, and you will have to know the right settings for the PS3 to configure it as it doesn't have templates for it.

Thanks for the help guns1inger I downloaded both AutoGK and Xvid4PSP. I used the latter to convert the movie to a PS3 play format, and it worked excellent. Once again many thanks.
